 MEETINGS

I provide psychotherapy to adults (18+) and work with a wide variety of concerns.  These include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and life transitions.  My approach is influenced by Buddhist and evolutionary psychology. I believe that well-being is a life practice and my approach is holistic, emphasizing value-oriented action, resource building, and the integration of psychology, mindfulness, compassion, and neuroscience.

I collaborate and consult with a wide variety of allied health professionals.  I have a particular interest in heart rate variability biofeedback, and various somatic practices.

ABOUT PSYCHOTHERAPY

Individual meetings are 45-90 minutes in duration, and are provided on-line, by phone, in-person in the office (Natick & Arlington) or in nature.  A  brief (15-30 minute) phone consultation is required to determine rightness of fit.

All mental health benefits are offered out-of-network.  Many clients seek partial reimbursement from their insurance companies for the cost of therapy, and a super-bill to support this process can be provided to client for submission. Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check or Zelle.

If you are interested in finding out if you can get reimbursed for some of the cost of therapy, please contact your health insurance company directly to determine what level of coverage might be offered for out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits.  Please note that most insurance companies will not reimburse the full fee, and many HMOs do not have out-of-network benefits.

If you cancel an appointment with less than 24-hours notice, or do not show for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee for the appointment.  If you miss three consecutive appointments, counseling services may be terminated.
