MEETINGS
Susie provides psychotherapy to adults (18+) and works with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the many questions that arise as we navigate the complexities of being human.
Her approach is grounded in the belief that healing is not simply about reducing symptoms, but about restoring relationship—with ourselves, one another, and the living world. Drawing from psychotherapy, contemplative practice, somatic awareness, deep ecology, and neuroscience, she partners with clients to cultivate greater resilience, self-compassion, emotional flexibility, and meaningful change.
Rather than offering a single therapeutic model, Susie tailors her work to the unique needs, strengths, and aspirations of each individual. She believes that wellbeing is an ongoing practice and seeks to help clients develop the inner resources needed to meet life's inevitable joys and challenges with greater presence, wisdom, and kindness.
She regularly collaborates and consults with physicians and other allied health professionals to support integrated care. Susie also has a particular interest in heart rate variability biofeedback, and somatic approaches that deepen awareness and foster lasting wellbeing.
ABOUT PSYCHOTHERAPY
Individual meetings are 45-90 minutes in duration, and are provided on-line, by phone, in-person in the office (Natick & Arlington) or in nature. A brief (15-30 minute) phone consultation is required to determine rightness of fit.
All mental health benefits are offered out-of-network. Many clients seek partial reimbursement from their insurance companies for the cost of therapy, and a super-bill to support this process can be provided to client for submission. Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check or Zelle.
If you are interested in finding out if you can get reimbursed for some of the cost of therapy, please contact your health insurance company directly to determine what level of coverage might be offered for out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits. Please note that most insurance companies will not reimburse the full fee, and many HMOs do not have out-of-network benefits.
If you cancel an appointment with less than 24-hours notice, or do not show for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee for the appointment. If you miss three consecutive appointments, counseling services may be terminated.
